ROLLER DOORS
These are customized according to client’s requirements. It consists of an overhead mounted spring loaded barrel assembly around which the shutters rotates and folds up or unfolds upon closing or opening. The load on the spring is adjustable to act as counter balance for the specific weight of the shutter. Weather seals can be fitted.
Slats
The shutter is made from individual horizontal locking slats (75mm wide galvanized steel)and when assembled forms a weather proof curtain.
Our standard slat has a deep concave design for wind resistance. A flatter version is also available. Both can be rolled from either solid, perforated or punched steel sheet.
It can be finished in galvanized, painted or epoxy powder coating.
Perforated or punched slats are translucent.

Grilles
Roller grilles are manufactured from 10mm mild steel round bars pressed into a predetermined shape and cut into lengths suiting the door opening. The bars are linked horizontally with steel clips. When assembled and suspended the bars form a curtain with a patterned grille. They provide clear vision yet high security and are ideal for shop fronts. A number of patterns are available and can be finished in galvanized, painted or epoxy powder coating.

Doors of a max size 2.5m x 2.5m are simply push-up or pull down types . Mechanical assistance is not required.
Gear
A large door (due to the weight) needs mechanical assistance with the use of a crank handle type gearbox (wall mounted at waist height). This is connected to a connecting steel tube to a crown wheel and pinion fixed to the overhead barrel assembly.
Chain
A chain wheel with reduction gears is mounted to one end of the barrel assembly and is driven through the crown wheel and pinion by means of an endless chain.
Electrical
A 220V or 380V geared motor of suitable power rating with remote control safety beams and self closing timers.
